Adri-Marie is a born and bred South-African, passionate about learning what it means to faithfully follow Jesus within the beautifully complex and traumatized South African context. Her work focuses on the well-being of society's caretakers — those who want to make a positive impact, against the odds — learning to keep our hearts alive as we serve others. She offers Spiritual Direction and retreats, training alongside the Jesuit Institute of South Africa, and walks alongside churches to develop and offer discipleship material. She also writes and designs individual/group formation and discernment processes, and helps with Courage to Teach and Courage to Lead retreats. Her desire is to practice and to live a hopeful, joyful, ethical life in a very divided society.
